Aikido course (Announcement dated 23 October 2025)
On 18–19 October 2025, a two-day Aikido and Daitoryu course took place. Daitoryu is a predecessor of the martial art aikido. The event was led by our Japanese sensei Daishiro Nakajima, 7. Dan, and took place in the Hermann-Uebelhör sports hall, with 40 participants mainly from Baden-Württemberg, but also from North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony.

As a tribute to the founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba, a picture of him is displayed together with the kamiza (flower decoration) in the sports hall during these courses.

After eating Japanese ramen soup with vegetables for lunch, we ended Saturday evening with sushi at a nearby restaurant.
